D I Y Shed Ramp--3 Tips To Building It Right
If you've either bought or built a storage shed to protect your riding lawn mower and other equipment, you're going to need a DIY shed ramp to facilitate moving your stuff in and out without damaging your gear.
You are going to need a ramp for any shed on your property in which you plan to store some type of vehicle or if the shed's foundation lifts the structure 12 inches or more above the ground.
In addition to making it easy for you to move equipment in and out, a ramp's gentle incline is a benefit to you because it creates a comfortable walkway.
Overall, a shed ramp will provide a safe and easy means to get the best use out of your shed.
It is important to construct your ramp correctly because with poor construction
• You'll have difficulty rolling bigger equipment in and out
• Your ramp will become slick when wet
• The structure could fail to support heavier equipment.
Here are these three key points to remember when building a ramp for your shed
1) Use 3/4-inch pressure treated plywood for the ramp surface, then add a non-skid surface on top. This will prevent you from slipping when the ramp is wet.
Regular plywood will allow algae to grow on the ramp surface. When wet, you can fall very easily on this slick-as-grease surface. Also your riding lawn mower could slide off the ramp and tumble on its side. In either instance, you're prone to a serious injury.
2) Build your ramp so it has a three-inches-per-vertical foot incline
This ramp requires a gentle slope. If it's steeper than three inches per vertical foot, your riding lawn mower and other low-clearance equipment will bottom-out on the shed entrance.
3) Use at least four-inch-square pressure-treated beams set no more than a foot apart when constructing the ramp's framework. Then add your pressure treated plywood to create the ramp's surface
You must build your ramp so it is strong enough to support your weight along with your heaviest pieces of equipment. A huge man atop a lawn tractor can stress a fragile ramp to the point where bows in the middle or collapses completely.
Of course, you have the option of installing a metal ramp. But, they're pricy. And a properly constructed DIY shed ramp built out of wood can be every bit as safe and effective as a metal product.

How do you remove the ignition from a lawn tractor?
On the front of the dash there is the portion where you put the key and on the back there is a large circular piece with wires running out of it. No screws...no washers or bolts. What the heck???
I have to completely remove it from the dash because I am refinsihing the tractor and it is rusted. I don't want to run my grinder that close to electrical cables.
ANYONE ANYONE????? ANYONE???
Back when I worked on them they had a small or small screws that held them together but I'm not sure this age and time. If you can, you might just be able to disconnect the wires and run you another switch if need be or use the same one by just re-connecting the wires. I would do which ever is the least amount of work and looks best. Hope this helps. They sure don't make em like they used too.

Hot Shots brand is one of the best franchise on PSP. Average IGN review scores for the two Hot Shots Golf game with Hot Shots Tennis, and you're left with a 8.4. Not so bad, and it should explain why I get all excited when I hear there is something new coming from this franchise.
Well, Hot Shot Shorties is here and it's nothing like the games that have come before, and it is both a good and bad thing. Spread over four packages - red, blue, yellow and green - each Hot Shot Shorties package gives you three mini-games to jump in while you're on the road with your PSP. You may NAB each package for $ 4.99 or all four at once for $ 14.99 (even if the four parcels will live as individual games on your PSP).

I need a vacuuming robot.
The contents of each package is over. Yellow has a homerun derby, but it also has a gardening game where all you do is weed. Red have you turn people in the face with pies in one mission and then alphabetizing a bookshelf in the next. It goes this way and the results are mixed. As goofy as it sounds, I really enjoy Vacuum Dash in Yellow. Here I play like a robot and have to vacuum dirty rooms while avoiding hazards such as hamsters and toy cars. It's a fun little challenge. Dog Blue's karate game is a bit of a bore. My character (which I can not adapt) is in the middle of the screen, and objects are thrown over, under, left and right for him. When something appears there, I need to hit the corresponding face button to attack it. I scored on how fast I am. It is not all that exciting.

Even the games I like are not really exciting. Green packs a great quirky game called Counter crusader. You are a salt shaker in the kitchen and need to hack and slash through the vegetables that spawn with spears in their hands. It's just running and cutting guys down, but it's cute and fun for little. Trying to survive as long as you can, is common theme in these games. Red's Flash Snafu about your army men held out against tanks and enemies with his bazooka and machine gun. These competitions are OK, but when I finished them I was not pumped to jump back in. I felt like I had done it and could move on to the next game.
These titles are not designed for the long haul. Sure, you get a character at the end and the game track your high scores, but you just compete against yourself. There is no multiplayer, and there is no online functionality. Everything you do in terms of development - leveling a character up or moving through a world - only the question of the moment. You're not coming back next time you play, and continue your adventure. There are different ways to unlock the different games, but they are not that great and you've seen most of what they have to offer when you have scrolled through them once.
Book it.
What's even more depressing about all this is that these Shorties shortcoming that the traditional Hot Shots flair. There are no costumes to make, no characters level up, and your profile is not even transfer from one Shorties parcel to another.
Concluding remarks
I had fun with a couple of the game in Hot Shots Shorties and smiled at a few of the concepts, but overall, it's just random, overpriced mini-games. They're fun for a bit but when I finished playing, I was finished with it too well.
