forest backdrop?
my daughter needs a backdrop/background for her Little Red Riding Hood story telling contest. i'm having it printed on a 6'x9' tarp. i can't find images that the print shop can make that big without warping the image. help! & thanks for the suggestions.
You need an image with similar proportions, I imagine your selecting an image from a coloring book or story book that is 8.5' x 11' or some other vertical format, yet your printing on something that is horizontal. You will either get a distorted image, or just dont print on the entire usable space.
Such a drastic resize should be done with vector art (.eps) or it will most likely print very pixelated.
Although this is really a graphic design concern ( and I am surprised that the print shop cant handle this problem for you)
My suggestion is to break out some old paint and let your daughter hand paint her own background.
technology isnt always good, let her play!
