Red Carpet Hairstyles
Are you bowled over by hairstyle icon Jennifer Aniston's hairdo in a recent award function? Or is your teenage daughter pestering you hard to get a Hillary Duff hair styling done? Much of what you see on the red carpet can be blamed on a stylist but the brunt of the joke always falls on the celebrity. Celebrities too are eligible for a bad hair day, isn't it? However, more than often, you tend to go gaga over their sleek and shiny hairdos. Every one is not lucky enough to step along with the dignitaries and celebrities on the red carpet, but how about trying the celebrity hairstyles on your own hair and flaunting the look? If you are game to flaunting some head-turning style, grab the latest red carpet hairstyles in this article and get the hot and ravishing or sweet and sexy look.
Red Carpet Hairstyles for Women
Classic Hairstyle
This hairdo is simple to style yet looks elegant. Be it Penelope Cruz, Brittany Murphy or J Lo, this hairstyle has been a hit among celebrities and never seems to go out of fashion. After applying a straightening cream on your damp hair, blow dry with a round brush. Then, brush you hair back and twist it into a low chignon. Later, pin the chignon and fold it neatly with the help of hair pin and clips. There you are! You have your very own classic red carpet hairstyle.
Ringlet Curls
Are you looking for a sizzling Halle Berry look? This is a very sophisticated hairstyle with ringlet curls. All you have to do is to center part your hair first. Then apply curl enhancing gel or mousse all over your curly hair. Use a drier or iron to set the curls and make neat ringlets. Now, in order to keep the frizz at bay, set the longer layers in front and shorter at back with serum. And here you have recreated your own fabulous Halle Berry look.
Choppy Chic Hairstyle
Wish to look sweet, sassy, and sexy at the same time? Best suited for medium length hair, first of all get your tress chopped with uneven ends. Apply straightening gels to set them. Front locks or fringes will give you a sexy look. Experiment a bit by highlighting your hair or wearing colorful hair mascara on this hairstyle.
Long Wavy Locks
Style icon Jennifer Lopez is quite often seen styling this way. The long wavy locks will add volume to your hair. Try mixing the wavy curls with the help of hair iron and hold them in position by applying a hair spray and intense shine hair serum. Highlighting these curls will add glamour to your entire look.
Red Carpet Hairstyles for Men
Side Swept Bangs
If you're looking for a haircut to enter the boardroom and nightclub touting the same look, this hairdo would serve just right. Whether you want your hair cut long or short on the sides and back, this fashionable fringe-styled bang haircut would give you a contemporary look.
Crew Cut
Dying to get a Sam Worthington's Avatar look? Get a crew cut done. Gone are the days when only men in the military got this hairdo done. A crew cut is a style of cutting the hair, with the front bangs being of the same length. The hair is tapered uniformly at a shorter length at or near the crown of the head. However, before getting the cut, make sure that the hairstylist knows what you want.
Surfer Look
Wooed by the Owen Wilson look? Try this trend that comes and goes, but never stays away for too long. The hair is kept long and in layers. Those seeking the surfer look can get it in any hair salon or right in front of their own mirror. Apply hair gels, hair wax and pomades to create the perfect surfer or beach look.

What color wall would look good with a red carpet?
Im getting a new carpet, and my mom found a red one that she wants me to put, what colors should i paint my walls? Black and white are a no no.
Or if not, please leave other carpet-wall color coordinations you think would look good.
ALSO, i would like a color that would make my small room look a little bigger. i wanted a dark blue, but it would make my room look tiny.
my room is 10x12
Red carpet and like a beige would look good. think of light colors. depending on the red weather its like a dark cherry red then i would suggest lights colors so then nothin clashes.

Red Carpet Backdrops in the Theatre
If you want to make a fantastic looking backdrop for a rich, lavish environment then a red carpet backdrop could look fantastic. Weather your production is a dinner party set in a rich mansion, a play on the royal family or celebrities, a red carpet will really show your backdrop off.
Colors are pretty self explanatory. A red carpet is always red. Red signifies royalty and wealth. Since the type of play directly affects where your red carpet will be situated below are some bullet points to see if you should have a red carpet in your backdrop. I have done these because I have seen red carpet backdrops used before when they really should not have been. If you answer yes to any of the questions below then use a red carpet backdrop, if not then think carefully and be sure that you really need it.
* Do you want your characters to appear wealthy or in some other way more privileged than others.
* Is your production set somewhere where you could easily have a red carpet? For instance is your play set in a mansion, where you could have the red carpet going up the stairs, or leading straight from the front door.
* Does your play include celebrities, or people of high importance.
Remember to think about the length of your carpet. Will it be just a short distance on your backdrop, or will it stretch right across both sides. Will you have it occupying most of the backdrop or only a small part? Another big thing you need to think about is what else you will have in the backdrop. Are you having just the red carpet or other decorations?
Think about whether you want tables either side of the carpet, or perhaps people standing either side. If you are including celebrities you may want to paint photographers on to give it that authentic feeling. Or perhaps if your red carpet backdrop is for someone who is not a celebrity think carefully about what would be around them. You don’t want to end up having a red carpet surrounded by photographers if the person to walk down it is not famous and unheard of.
Finally you will want to think about what colors you will use for everything else but the red carpet. I have seen productions where they have used red walls and furniture so it completely hid the red carpet and made it pointless. Try and use colors that don’t really stand out that much to emphasize the red carpet backdrop as much as possible. Grays and whites are good, and will help to bring out the red carpet. Also if you are having people in the backdrop make sure they don’t block out all of the red carpet if they are standing there lining it, as that would ruin the affect.
As you can see there is a lot to take in, so just take your time and make sure you don’t overcrowd the final image and make sure you get the colors right.

Happy People / U Saved Me $10.47 R. Kelly is arguably one of R&B's most productive minds in years and the Chicago native creates music at a pace that few artists in any genre could keep up with. "Happy People/U Saved Me" serves as Kelly's own personal "Best of Both Worlds"--highlighting both the singer's love for stepping (a Midwest-based dance craze) and need for salvation. "Happy People" is the more upbeat of the two discs with... |
