Its about technique, not strength.
Punch from the hip, not from the shoulder as you put your whole weight behind the force, as in turn your hip when you hit, and don't raise your shoulder. Also when punching, stay relaxed right up until you make contact, then tense your whole body fast and release again quick. Adds some serious amount of force to the attack. Also, don't aim for the contact point, aim for about a few inches beyond it.
Of course, this advice is for your own self defence if he attacks you, I couldn't condone you using these tips as an anything other than defence.

My Personal Review On Bright Starts Comfort & Harmony Portable Swing
Good Swing This change is quite good so far. My baby of 3 months, which is quite large (percentile 90) fits perfectly into the swing. Not sure how much longer it will last, however, if it gets larger, his feet dangling over the edge! I would recommend this swing for newborns - 4 months old. It is super quiet (which used to have a Graco, and one is LOUD), and setup is very easy to use. Not bad for riding or (I did it myself ... no husband at all!) Just need a screwdriver. I have the pink cake, and I love the colors and design. It is also very soft and comfortable for the baby. My little one also loves the toy bar, and I love to be as flexible so you can take in and out of swing with ease. The only reason that this shift has not 5 stars is because tilt options does not seem very safe. Every time I put the money in an upright position, seems to fall into the reclined position. It scares me, but the baby is always fine, just shook a little. But other than that, this swing is great for little babies ... if you need a little twist to rock your baby to sleep, watch this ... do not go by the monster the size of Graco one, which one does the job for 1 / 3 the price!
