Mouse Trap Car - How To Build A Mouse Trap Car
One of the nicest cars that can be built by anyone is the mouse trap car. This kind of car uses a spring to harness the power and move the wheels. In order to construct the mouse trap car, you need 2 metal rods, 4 eyehole screws, mouse trap, plywood, washer, rubber bands and string.
Making a mouse trap car:
1. on the mouse trap you can locate the wires. Make sure to keep the mouse trap wide opened.
2. get the wires out of the trap using the pliers. Take away the bait holder as you will not require it. Hold the parts you removed using the staples.
3. drill a nice and small hole on one trap, at the end. It is good to set the holes 8mm away from the edges.
4. you can now put together the axle and wheel. Use the compass to create 4 circles of 75mm onto the plywood. Smoothen the edges using a file.
5. cut the metal rods and make sure they are the same length.
6. cut through one rod and fit the wires on to the groove. After that you have to glue the wire to the axle’s slot.
7. the final step is to create the engine of the mouse trap car. Some people say this is the most complicated thing to do but it is not like that at all if you pay attention to all the indications. First take the string and then firmly tie it onto the middle of the trap jaws. Make sure to tie a strong loop in the trap’s end. After doing that you should see that the loop is at the rear axle. Nicely take 2 rubber bands and then glue them all around the rear wheels. In this way you will provide the traction.

What is the best bait for a mouse trap?
I've used pork and it has worked but this time the mouse has been taking the bait and not activating the mouse trap. But i found a way for the mouse trap to go off easily and i dont have any pork this time, what can i use that is the best?
A mix of peanut butter and oatmeal works pretty good. The mice are more likely to step on the trigger when they try to lick the bait.

A History of the Best Mouse Traps
When mice have gone from cute to pests, we need to get rid of them. They can infest a household and get into food, spread disease, and otherwise be a general nuisance. There are plenty of different mouse traps on the market that we all know; the glue trap, the humane trap, and the traditional spring-loaded trap. But when did they come about and how did the designs change?
The first spring-loaded mousetrap was invented in 1894 by a man named William C. Hooker. It was meant to snap down upon a mouse with lethal force when the trip was set off by the mouse. Bait used for spring-loaded traps isn't just limited to cheese. Oats, chocolate, meat, bread and peanut butter all work as well. There was later a larger design specifically for rats invented due to their larger bodies.
In 1899, an updated version from John Mast was created to ensure the safety of the person loading the trap.
Following the original trap, the mouth mousetrap came about. It was made of plastic jaws that snapped shut on the mouse when triggered, albeit with less force than most other traps.
In the 1920s the humane mouse trap was invented. It housed more than one mouse and kept them caged so it would be easy to release them into the wild, without harming the animal at all. These traps have of course been remodeled since then, often smaller and made of plastic. It's often advised to bring the mice as far from the property as possible when releasing them so they can't make their way back.
The glue trap was created to be an easy to use, disposable mouse trap. These traps use either a natural or synthetic adhesive that is placed on cardboard and then baited. They are meant for indoor infestations as the outdoor air can ruin the adhesive. If a person would rather not let the glue trap be lethal, it is possible to remove the mouse with some vegetable oil, which will reduce the stickiness.
The most recent design of mousetraps are electrical ones, which would administer a lethal does of electricity to the mouse which is one of the most quick and painless lethal traps out there.
The mousetrap has evolved over time ever since the very first, classic trap. With new ideas and technology there are now several options to take care of an infestation so everyone has a choice of what suits them best.
