Can i bring a ciggarette lighter in hand luggage on aircraft?
Hello i am going to be departing from heathrow , london then to seol in koreaairport then to nadi airport in fiji, i was wondering if i could take my zippo lighter on my hand luggage in the aircraft ?

Im not going to the us , just fiji, and korea and departing from london , things just wouldent be the same without my zippo we have been thu alot lol

One lighter per person may be carried on a flight. Lighters are considered to be liquids and should be put inside the plastic bag or screened separately. You must keep the lighter on your person throughout the flight.
It is very important that you do not:
* place it in your hold baggage
* return it to your hand baggage after screening

So, do NOT put a lighter in your checked baggage - unless it is completely empty of fuel.
Do put it into the plastic bag along with other liquids and let it be screened in the usual way with other liquids.
