3 times I've found a mouse seated on my door mat, if nudged away it returns. I have 2 cats. What is up??
once the mouse entered and was caught and eaten by my indoor cat. Prior to that, I'd assumed another mouse at the matt was,"punch drunk" because my outdoor cat had played with it. BUT recently a mouse hung around the step all day. I'd chased it down a step but it came back within the day. Later my husband took it farther in the yard. It or another mouse is back after a full day!!!
