backlighting nightmare?
I have two construction lamps each with dual heads and a projection screen that Im trying to use as a white background but to success. What am I doing wrong? My pics are coming out too shadowy too yellow, too gray. Ive tried a variety of settings and really don't have enough dough for a speedlite, soft box, umbrella ect............
yellow:
set your white balance to 3200k or "tungsten" - refer your manual, or place a few layers of blue cellophane over the lamps heads - be careful and set camera to "daylight" or 5500k - refer your manual.
grey:
get your exposure correct, this i cant answer here refer youtube "photography, exposure", move the lights closer to the background, open up the aperture more, slower shutter, et ceteras, if your getting grey then your background is not getting enough light
