KEF's home cinema speaker systems have earned massive respect since they first arrived on the scene in 2000. The new Kef KHT-2005-3 system is their third release. The new set shows off the small, low cost capabilities that are KEF's trademark. Featured in the Kef KHT2005 system are four satellite speakers, a center, and a subwoofer.
The first thing to notice about the satellites is their chic egg shape. The system can be purchased in matt silver or glossy black. The speakers come with a base that makes positioning easy. The satellites can be set up on floor stands. The center speaker has a similar look and the same base, but it can be set up without the base horizontally if desired.
The Kube-2 subwoofer features a compact design. It is also easy on the eyes. The woofer is coated on fabric on three sides, with a glossy finish on the top. The edges of the woofer are curved. The technology behind it includes side firing bass drivers, a 200 watt class-D amp, and 250 mm of reflex. Excellent frequency range, output, and volume are offered by the system.
Several variables can be altered with the knobs on the back of the woofer. The volume and crossover can be adjusted, as can the phase of the sound waves. The bass response can be adjusted between 6 and 12 dB for the best results.
The satellite speakers are just as perfectly implemented. They are designed in order to provide the sound range and volume of much bigger speakers. KEF has been able to do this right in the past. They achieve it again in this case using a 100mm UNI-Q driver, neodymium magnets, and a metal dome tweeter. This enables the speakers to cover a large space.
The speakers are user friendly. The ports are very easy to reach and plug the speaker cables into. The connections are very secure. The base can be moved easily and sturdily. The angle of the base can be easily moved without worrying about damaging it. The base can also be taken apart and the speaker set up horizontally.
When testing the speakers, they tend to take a little while to start up. Once they are ready, however, they deliver sound volume and quality that exceeds their size. They are perfect for both movies and albums. The sonic environment is very adaptive, crisp, and engaging, and provides near movie theater quality.
Perhaps the greatest strength of the Kef KHT-2005-3 is how all of the speakers are tuned to synergistically provide one coherent experience. The satellites, woofer, and centre blend to create a sonic environment, rather than sounding like six separate speakers. Each individual speaker is designed to work together perfectly with every other piece. The system reaches the highest pitched sounds with crystal clarity. The mids are built with a wide range, reaching into the range of the tweeters and the subwoofer, so that no sounds remain uncovered.
Compared to other systems in its price range, the Kef KHT-2005 is one of the best available. It offers a range that wouldn't be expected by satellites of this size. The woofer's powerful booms are tuned perfectly with the rest of the speakers. The series is also beautiful to look at. With all of this on the table, the system makes for a good catch.

Can you tell me what the button is beside the knob that controls the dome light .
My car is a 2004 Chev Cavalier. I just cant figure this button out. Its next to a "knob" that controls the length of time the dome light stays on after you leave your car. Also I have day running lights so Im trying to figure out if the button could have something to do with the main lights. You know shutting themselves off after a certain about of time. Any help greatly appreciated. Trying to find any info on the web seems they want you to buy an owners manual. Price anywhere from $3.99 to $39.99. Crazy!

2011 Honda Accord CrossTour - Details and price
A bold and sleek exterior conveys a prestigious presence from the outside, while premium interior styling extends from the passenger compartment into the cargo area. Increased functionality is provided by an under-floor storage area in the rear of the vehicle and reversible cargo floor panels for accommodating dirty objects. The VCM cylinder deactivation system is programmed to run on 3, 4 or 6 cylinders, based on current power requirements. A technologically advanced 5-speed automatic transmission is standard equipment. For CUV capability, the AccordCrosstour provides ample ground clearance and Real Time™ 4WD drive is available.
The Accord Crosstour is available in two trim levels, the EX and EX-L.
