Cleveland CG7 Irons is worth buying in mygolfwholesale
Looking at the new 2009 CG7 irons from Cleveland had me thinking: Could these irons be as easy to hit as the company says they are?
From the moment the light hits these gleaming beauties, you can sense there is something familiar, yet new with these irons. Familiar because Cleveland has retained their "CG" naming convention and because of the clean lines which have always been a hallmark of Cleveland irons. New because these are supposed to be game-improvement irons, yet for a moment I thought I had opened a box marked "low handicappers only."
So it was with anticipation and trepidation that I traveled to the range and onto the course.
The topline look on these irons is pleasing. Large enough to instill confidence, but also a clean look which made for easy alignment.
Working through the irons from short to long (the standard configuration is 4-P), my first reaction was, "when am I going to hit a bad shot with these?"
What Cleveland calls their 360-degree Gelback Technology made each shot feel flushed. The company has equipped each CG7 iron with a molded lightweight insert which Cleveland says "provides vibration dampening across the entire face." Now, that's a good thing for mid- to-high handicappers. Perhaps the Gelback has taken any hint of mishit - a chance for feedback - out of the equation. Then again, do you really want to drive a car without shock absorbers?
Can the CG7 irons give you the feel of a luxury car in a golf club? Yes they can!
The stock steel R-flex shaft I tested looked like a Cleveland-branded True Temper offering. The shots flew high and seemed to hang there. Again, something that is, in a mid-to-high handicapper's hands, great, but that might put off some of the more accomplished iron players.
I did, however, find it easy enough with the CG7 irons to hit knockdowns and draws. Fades came with a little more effort.
There is a slight offset to the CG7 irons which is maintained through the set. Cleveland offers a full range of shafts which should be able to lower the ball flight for those who desire such an effect.
The company has progressively sized the microcavities of each iron and equipped each with a high MOI.
As for distance performance, the CG7 irons performed to the same distance as other major-branded irons; however, there was more forgiveness and less loss of distance on off-center hits.
By this point in my play with these irons, I'd gotten used to the higher flight and enjoyed hitting solid shot after shot. It really was tough to hit a truly "bad" shot with these clubs.
Can Cleveland deliver on a promise to make a mid-to-high handicapper's club look, feel and perform like that of a lower handicapper's club? With the new CG7 irons, why, yes, they can.

What methods of branding are available for my new horse?
I want to know what alternatives there are available. I'm new to horses and am trying to educate myself. My husband branded, as a youth, the old way with a fire and branding irons. Thanks.

Grill Charms Or Branding Irons?
If you are grilling fanatic like me who not only loves to grill all year round but also loves to entertain then I'm sure you're going to be able to empathize with my situation.
For a start there's one thing that fills me with abject horror and that is turning up to a barbecue party and finding that I am going to be eating burgers that have come straight out of the freezer cabinets at the supermarket. For one thing they taste terrible, secondly the quality of the meat is appalling and thirdly, (and most infuriating) it takes no time at all to buy a pack of ground meat and make your own burgers of far superior quality.
When I entertain I always ensure that there are some interesting and different things to talk about whilst doing the cooking. Whether it be in the marinade, the sauce or indeed the meat itself.
Having said that there's still nothing better than a really juicy stake cooked to the absolute perfection of your guests and while everyone knows that steak is quite simple there still a significant challenge to be overcome in getting it right.
There's a couple of great talking point s about cooking the humble steak and the first of these is learning how to grill your steak to perfection by feeling it. If you want to know more on this subject please refer to my article about how to perfectly grill steaks.
The second talking points and where I want to go this time is about answering that question how do you identify which steak is perfect for which person and how do you ensure that all the steaks are served at the same time?
You see, there's been an easy answer to this first point for many years and that is to use barbecue branding irons. You can heat the iron in the coals and sear an image on your steak that easily identifies how well done your steak is and I have to say I have used this technique many times, not only does it work it's also great fun!
The one problem we have still not answered is how to ensure that the steaks are served at the same time. Maybe it's just me but I tend to use the branding iron during the cooking process when all the steaks are already on the grill. I have now found a way of identifying each steak individually using a grill charm so now I can actually label my steaks in advance and put them on the grill in the right order and so finish cooking simultaneously.
I also learnt to kill two birds with one stone in that not only are grill charms a practical solution they are also a great talking point for the party guests. In fact they are fast becoming the most sought after party accessory so whenever I go to a barbecue party I always take a set of these unique grilling gifts with me.
No doubt grill charms will be the must have grilling accessory this holiday season. Whether they are here to stay or are simply today's fashion remains to be seen but given the innate practicality of the product I think that they are here to stay.
